It’s Friday and for me that means I’ll be performing at Fat Tony’s tonight! I’ll be bending the time period rules a bit this evening to do a 50’s beach babe set. The show starts at 6pm SLT and there will be three other fabulous performers for your entertainment. Some scoot down to the speakeasy and sip on some hooch with us!
Went and got another chunk of the Mesh Around Hunt completed today. I loved re-discovering the Uma skin (found here for free) so much that I decided to keep using it for the pictures today too. In the first photo the pants are part of an outfit in the prize at Echo. The beaded necklace is from Aura and it comes with a regular version and a version for bigger breasts so you don’t have to do all the messy moving and rotating yourself! This mint colored bustier is from Ingenue and the hunt prize also comes with a pink version. The bangles are from 22769 and are the female prize for the Silk Road Hunt.
L.A. here I come! This shirt, baseball cap, and faded jeans are all from the enormous hunt prize at Pirate Arts. Definitely makes me think of some dope threads from the 90’s. Other than these items there is also another shirt and some very cute red high-waist capris with white Day of the Dead skulls on them.

I was able to work in a quick bit of hunting today! The Mesh Around Hunt is on and kickin’. Saw a lot of people out on the trail as I was hunting and for good reason! There are definitely some good finds. I absolutely love this tank that is from Geometry. It does have a little alpha gap near the cleavage, but it looks best if you are wearing the small size. The hair is from Discord Designs and you can get the “light” and “dark” color packs on the hunt. My adorable skirt is from Evolve and you will pick it up at the first hunt location. You can pick up these orange and gold bangles on the Silk Road Hunt at 22769.

Hi everyone! I have been watching all the awesome blogs out there and getting great ideas from Tumblrs but I haven’t had the time to post! I’m almost done with the 2nd week in my first summer class and it is INTENSE! But I have been able to find time to pick up a few awesome things for the burlesque show Friday at Fat Tony’s. The sexy military jumper (which is a dress too if you prefer it that way!) is from Sassy and it’s part of the Drafted! Hunt (which also has a mesh camo corset I adore!). This hair is from Artilleri on the marketplace and is definitely worth the low price! The texture of the hair is nice and the bandanna comes with so many color options.

Hey guys! It’s that time of the month… group gift time, of course! What were you thinking? ANYWAY, I wanted to show you something a little different. These nails are available at the Group Member Lucky Chairs in Candy Nails. They also have a really neat group gift out, especially if you do any sort of fairy/fantasy/flower related looks. :) I especially love their nails that come with rings. These items have all been out during the month of April and are likely to be changing soon. So get over there if you haven’t already!

Well guys and gals, the Mexico A Go Go hunt is ending on Saturday May 5. So, if you don’t have time to see it all, at least go to the hunt site, take a look at their preview pictures, and pick up the items you love the best. They really do have some awesome+quality items. Take all this great furniture for instance, each set only costs you 1L on the hunt.
Also, a note for the ladies out there. Be sure to unpack and try on the men’s gifts. Both pairs of pants, as well as the orange t-shirt, in these photos are from some of the guy’s freebies!

An important part of a Cheap Second Life is trying to make money in world. This past weekend I had my first gig hostessing and now I’m going to give dancing a try tonight, from 6-8 SLT, at Gutter Bunny NightClub. More importantly we’ll be having fun with my sl sis Crafty hostessing, DJ Tina spinning music, and myself swinging around the pole! Come on over and hang out with us and check out the new club!
Today is the last day of the Pose Fair so make sure you check it out. There ARE free poses you just have to be thorough, since not all of the stores have gifts. Also, check signs near the doors to make sure they aren’t low priced poses (i.e. 5L etc.)
ALSO! There is a Pose Fair Photo Contest via Flickr. The first prize is 15,000L, second prize is 10,000L, and third prize 5,000L!!!! Of course, there are already 1000+ entries but it’s still a fun way to pass SL time and build up your photography skills. Plus, who know? Your picture might just have enough charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to win! ;)
